Magic Planet, the world’s first magic-themed park, celebrated its 11th anniversary with a grand event on October 31, 2025. The celebration was inaugurated by film actor and political activist Krishnakumar, who described Magic Planet as “a heavenly place where wonders and goodness go hand in hand.” The event was presided over by Different Art Centre Chairman Jiji Thomson IAS, and writer Salin Mankuzhi attended as the chief guest.
During the event, Santosh Babu, the first recipient of the Kalabhavan Mani Award, was honoured for his contribution to folk music and received a certificate and memento from the Different Art Centre. He then performed folk songs, adding a festive spirit to the celebration. Shyla Thomas, Director, Timesworld, welcomed the gathering, and Sunilraj CK, Operations Manager, Magic Planet, delivered the vote of thanks.
